The Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program (CADFP) is a fellowship program for African-born academics currently living in the USA and Canada, and working in higher education. Fellows engage in educational projects for periods ranging from two weeks to three months at universities and colleges in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda. There are no restrictions by disciplinary areas. Past fellows include examples in veterinary medicine, biology, forestry, and other areas of the natural sciences. UK Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) -- Global Challenges Research in Food and Agriculture

The Global Challenges Research Fund is a new 5-year program of UK research to address problems faced by developing countries, with emphasis on health and agriculture. European Commission (EC) -- Production of Quality Coffee in Nepal

The EC will fund technical assistance to help coffee growers and cooperatives in Nepal improve the value chain for Nepalese coffee.
